Over the decades it has been proven that the stronger our listening skills, a foundation is established and a higher closing ratio is achieved. 

Asking the right questions gives you the answers you need.  Their needs are all that matter; not what you know.  Now use that information to resolve their problem.

What are some of the right questions to ask to initiate a conversation?

Do you care about the state of the economy?

How’s life treating you these days?

Is the family planning a road trip this summer?

Do you care about providing adequately or generously for your family?

What green initiatives are your family and business associates implementing?

Are the fuel prices crimping your style?

Who do you know seeking additional income for stability or has a huge need?

Who do you know that is passionate about defending and protecting the environment?

Are you growing personally and professionally as you planned last year?

What improvements have you made in your life in the past six months?

What do you want most in the world right now?

If you could save money on equipment maintenance without sacrificing long-term quality, would you want to know about it?

Are you earning more income than you can spend or give away?

Are you looking to take your life to the next level?

Do you posses any management skills?

Who do you know looking for a green collar source of income?

What nonProfits do you know seeking funding?

What schools are underfunded in your area?

You are in the landscaping business, how closely do you monitor your maintenance expenses?

You put a lot of miles on your vehicle, do you do a lot of preventative maintenance to save money?

Do you know anyone that drives a truck?   a car?  owns a boat?  mows their lawn?  has a generator?  uses a cellphone?

Now, ask youself, do you write down the Q & A during that brief conversation?  Tell them you would really like to continue the conversation but are running late and ask for their number to reconnect?
